I normally do not speak politics, but after this speech I will from this point on.

Like him or not, Mr. President presented the world with a Great Speech, I hope it was more than just a speech.

Interpretation for Black America, what it means to us.

1 - Poverty in America is a result of our past , in other words, due to slavery,education-lack of,opportunities have been hampered for poor people, and it shows.

2 - Mr. President also says that he admits to the failure of the SYSTEM in regards to the Katrina disaster.

3 - Mr. President says lets enact war on poverty.

All of this sounds good, but I have an idea, lets get Elliot Spitzer to track where all of this 200Billion dollars is going to be allocated. He is a Pit Bull. His name sends fear to wrong doers.

Lets get Oprah to find the causes, she has the Talent and The World loves her. People are comfortable with her, She is Brilliant.

Right wrong or indifferent , Mr. President nailed it.

I Thank You Mr. President, you are right, our past as a country has come up to haunt us. The News Headlines looked like you were in Africa and it was a Famine, now you know that this has to be cleaned up.

So now, you Mr. President and the rest of The Republican Party have to do something about this.

Now , I have a message to all of you in regards to all of this money, The Carpet Baggers are in New Orleans already, whom is going to police them.

In closing , attention to all if the residents in THE HOODs of America, There is a New Orleans in every major city in the country, just look around you. So what are you going to do to better your lives, in order that this will not happen to you.

The DISASTER in this country occurred long before HURRICANE KATRINA.

Imagine Italy in Oakland, a husband and wife team, whom are pleasant to talk to. I have personally spoken with them before and they are a joy. If you are from THE HOOD, like I am, please treat yourself and go and take a ride on the Gondolas, the price may seem expensive but it is not expensive at all, especially when you put a smile on that special persons face.

The Gondolas at The Lake, a friday evening stroll on The Lake is something that a lot of people do not normally do, but this venue will change your mind. Just do it, and you will love it.

I know, most of you say that you can't afford to go to school, The truth of the matter is, HELL, you can't afford not to go. College is not for everyone, but for us in THE HOOD, a certain number of us have to go, it is a priority that is being overlooked, everyone has their part to play in life, and in THE HOOD, we need more Doctors, Lawyers,Accountants,Politicians. Why , I say this? Because, we need a strong financial and political and business structure.

Well I am going to just say this, Thank You to all of you and I thank all of you for rescuing the pets. This is my dog in my younger years, names SHEBA and I know how I Felt when I lost her to a car accident. It was devastating, it took a while to get over it.

So to all of you rescuing the pets, THANK YOU. Sheba and I thank you.

I am going to Think Creatively today about the families of The Southern USA.

Namingly the less fortunate.

All of you individuals with unlimited resources, Business Barons, Doctors, Lawyers,Atheletes,Entertainers etc.

In other words the people with the money.

Adopt a family with young children and set up a program for a new way of life. Sure it will be a HELL OF A CHALLENGE, but so is IRAQ. OK, and a lot of you are in favor of that situation. Well , take a stand on the WAR against poverty at home.

Put them in school, educate them on a whole new way of life, with the new educational tools of society today. Step up to the plate and put a plan together, set up a professional team for a family and you can assist them in more ways than one.

Yes it will be difficult, but it is no diiferent than trying to teach the citizens of IRAQ a whole new way of thinking. The truth of the matter is, that , people in this country are foreigners also, by way of education and just life skills.

Start one of them on a 100year plan, re-educate them. All of them may not want to be re-educated about life and that is fine. Nothing fails but at try.

You all get my point.

In closing, all I am saying is: adopt a family and make a change, just as Ross Perot did years ago, with Preschoolers in Texas. Trust me, everything is all about chances, who knows, you may teach one of the residents of the South the Finance World, and he / she can go back and teach the rest of the community. Now that would help for a lifetime.
